International Epilepsy Day

February 8th is the International Epilepsy Day

Every year, on the second Monday of February it is celebrated the Epilepsy Day internationally. This day aims to increase awareness of epilepsy, highlighting the problems faced by people with epilepsy daily. It is the commonest serious neurological condition, affecting about 50 million people in the world.

February 8th is a day to be together with patients and care providers, medical professionals and pharmaceutical companies. At BIAL, we aim to sustainably improve the quality of life and Health of people with epilepsy.
